Would you like to make food choices that support you?
Are you looking for inspiration?
If so, this might be for you…
When it comes to food (and life) most of us know a fair bit about what’s best for us and a lot about why in reality our choices don’t always lead us to that optimal place. So I’m teaming up with Homeopath Rachel Lucas who uses nutrition alongside homeopathy to enhance and maintain vibrant health for herself, her family and the people who come to see her who are interested in improving their health. Both on the yoga mat and at the table we’ll be addressing the affect of what we’re putting in to our body on our mood, productivity and well-being.
From a yoga perspective our mood and appetite can be governed and altered through yoga practice. I’ll be offering up a practice to naturally re-energise by drawing on dormant energy through yin yoga and deeper stretching aimed at calming the adrenals and stimulating the para-sympathetic nervous system. It’s no coincidence that the para-sympathetic is also known as the ‘rest and digest’ system of the body.
Rachel will discuss the relationship between food and mood and suggest some simple changes that don't rely solely on leafy green vegetables! Rachel's passion will fire up your enthusiasm and increase your resolve to move towards optimum nutrition; nutrition that will work in harmony with your body, helping you to feel your best.
‘I tend to keep things simple. My superfood hacks and recipes will be straight-forward and achievable by all. I will bring in a few nutritious and hopefully delicious foods to inspire,’ says Rachel.
Booking is now open. To book your place please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A note about numbers- at the moment I’m limiting numbers to seven people so that we can all socially distance. If the restrictions change, I may be able to open up a few more places so it’s well worth going on the waiting list.
Refund policy- if you have booked and paid for the workshop and you're unable to attend I can refund you if I'm able to give your place to someone else. If I need to cancel the workshop for any reason I'll give you a full refund.
See you on the mat!
